I do not feel even remotely in the Christmas spirit today. Sorry God. I will write something happy tomorrow.

This is the view out my bedroom window right now (note: I’m home for the week)
This was green…ish last night.
Are you kidding me? When I woke up at 7 this morning it was raining out and there was no trace of snow left. :( I am looking forward to coming home to this. :) x/o
Via just lovely
December 7, a little late because I did not feel inspired
Fa la la la la, la la, la, la!
It SNOWED yesterday (now you are wondering why on Earth I didn’t feel inspired). And it made me happy!
And now the weather people are predicting a storm for later today and tomorrow!

Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
- Robert Frost
Yes, fellow literary analysts, I know this poem is not about Christmas. But ever since I studied it in grade ten and Grant Harris suggested that it was about Santa Claus, I have opted to ignore its more morbid meanings and think of it as pretty. :)

December 5 a little bit late. ;)

December 4
Say what you will, this is a FESTIVE POST! This film screams Christmas to me. ’Tis the season when I see that it is playing on all of the CTV channels. Also it never fails to warm my heart.
Also I have a crush on Captain Von Trapp.

December 3
My first (and only?) snow globe from the Christmas store in Niagara-on-the-Lake. One of my oldest and definitely most prized possessions. Snow globes are happy things. :)

I think I just ultimately discovered that I work way better by myself and with the select few people I choose to work with me.

Mmmm Holtom's Bakery. The only place you can walk into with 50 cents and walk out happy. Briggy got her first taste of that magic yesterday. By the way, does your sister work there?
Yup! Both of them do.
I thought so. One of them looked kind of goofy in a familiar way. :P
GEE. THANKS.

The Toronto Star: First Snow-Free November in 162 Years?
The other day I took a short-cut home from school and in doing so I passed a lattice fence with rosebushes growing up the side of it. I did a triple take when I saw that a few roses were still in bloom, still in their pretty prime.
Although I find it remarkable that the white stuff hasn’t arrived yet, I have to admit that I am jonesing for it. It just feels wrong to walk past an enormous house decked out in red bows and greenery that blends in with the perfectly groomed, lush front lawn. But tomorrow is December 1, and ‘tis the season. My eyes are to the skies and there are four diagrams of festive flurries in the seven-day forecast. This is promising - let it snow already!
On that note, check back tomorrow for the first of my daily posts-of-good-cheer until Christmas!

Remember that lesson you taught on Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart” in grade 8? Maybe you don’t. Either way, I am a little ashamed to admit that that lesson plus seven more years of learning how to analyse literature saved my life last Thursday during my American Literature test. So, thank-you.
Sincerely,
C.
